Tips & Tricks
Over the years, we have found the following tips and tricks to work very well in Southeast Idaho:
Watering
Water deeply in the evening or early morning when it’s cool every 2-3 days, because this allows roots to grow deeper and stronger.
Lawns
It’s a good idea to fertilize your lawn several times a year. When buying fertilizer, look for brands that include weed control to kill two birds with one stone.
Grubs
Treating your lawn for grubs doesn’t have to be difficult. We have found an effective remedy is to use a granular form of grub control 3 times during the Summer. For example, spreading around Memorial Day, the 4th of July, and Labor Day will give you good control.
